A special birthday cake for my sweet mother-in-love!

Happy Birthday Jackson!
A pirate cake for a special little one-year old! Two-layer cake with two-tone color swirl cupcakes!

One more for Birthday Boy Jack!

This is his giant cupcake smash cake for his 1 year old pictures! He's quite adorable...the icing every where made it even cuter, if that's possible!

Now my sweetheart loves chocolate, but for him cookies beat cakes any day of the week! So, for his birthday he got a GIANT cookie cake. This was my first try at a cookie cake and I must say I will definitely be making this again! It was quite a hit! YUM!!!

Happy Birthday Jason!

A birthday cake for my sweet sister-in-law. She's a baker too and we often work on cake projects together. But I couldn't exactly make a cake for her with her now could I? So, here's her two-tier pink fondant polka dot cake. She loves pink!!!

Happy Birthday Becki!

Another Pirate Cake!
This one was a BIG deal...literally, it took us (My mother-in-law, sister-in-law and myself) 3 days I think! It was for another little pirate, my nephew. He loved it! It was fun working together on this one too!!

Happy Birthday Timothy!!!

This cake has probably been my biggest project so far! My baby sister (and the youngest child in our family) graduated high school last summer. She absolutely did not want to decorate with her school colors (black and orange), so the diva that she is chose a black, white and hot pink theme! It took lots of time to make the decorations and put all the pieces together, but it was worth every minute knowing I was giving my sister a cake like no other for her special day!

Congratulations Ericka!
Class of 2011

This cake was a very special one! It was for my Momma's 50th Birthday! That's a pretty big deal! I surprised her by flying to Pennsylvania for a visit and we threw her a birthday party with friends and family. She loves the beach, so I was inspired with a beach theme cake. I used sea shells and sand dollars covered in a sparkly glaze around the base of the cake (I had them all wrapped up and carried them on the plane with me. I was so nervous they would crack, but they all made it). The star fish and numbers were covered in clear sprinkles. The numbers had a hard time staying in the cake. Next time I know to have longer inserts to hold them down! :) And a touch of brown sugar "sand" added to the festivity! I love this cake and my Momma too!! She my best friend!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Anniversary Cake
This cake was made for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's 1st wedding anniversary! This was before I started using fondant. Not bad for a beginner! The colors remind me of Tiffany & Co., which was not intentional, but I do love those colors!

Happy Anniversary Mark & Becki!

Here's another bow cake. This one was a birthday cake for a friend of Jason's. His sweet wife planned a surprise party/dinner for him at The Spaghetti Factory in downtown Nashville. It was a fun night!

Happy Birthday Grant!

Here's another team effort from my sister-in-law and I...we made baseball cakes for one of my nephew's team party at the end of the season. They were the Atlanta Braves. The cakes had "grass" and even a autographed ball with all the kids names on it! It was fun and I loved how they turned out!!

Great Job Zach!
